embedded products for which I've written software, as contract gigs:
Gilbarco Encore gas pump with color touch screen and embedded web browser/server (Java, Linux, PPC); I just did Java programming, no OS configuration or hardware design/building
wrote software for 4+ shipped iPhone/iOS apps (which is technically embedded programming, though not typically put in that category)
for a new client, delivered a feature upgrade to their display unit content/advertising software, a system involving both a central server and many individual Windows-based clients/agents that control the display but receive command/control/content from the server (late 2011)
technical leadership and software development for a client with a new embedded product (2011-2012); did all programming and system architecture for a client/server design with a custom-written Python app running on BeagleBoard talking via HTTP and SSH to a central Python-Linux server over the internet
embedded hobby-only projects:
- Arduino: made my "Hello World" C project with one: blinking lights to a numeric pattern sent by a little custom Python app I wrote, hosted on my Mac talking to the Arduino board over serial USB. (mid 2010)
- Raspberry Pi: first unit ordered; planned some projects using it for learning purposes (mid 2012)
